Remembering Lee Mendelson
7-13-1923 ~ 5-6-2021
Lee Mendelson, past VP of our lodge, transitioned due to persistent illness on May 6, 2021. She was a very important member of our lodge, treasured for many years and rose to the office of VP. Though she had much sadness in her life, loss of an adult daughter due to illness, and the death of her husband, she always managed to be cheerful and to prop up others with less positive attitudes. She could always be counted on to help out with any activity whether it be hosting a fund-raiser, collecting donations or shopping for new carpeting – Lee was ready and willing to work on behalf of our Miami – Deerfield lodge. And her cheerful attitude and sense of humor carried us all through the occasional bump in the road that every society experiences.
Lee dear – you will continue to remain in our minds and hearts and may you have a quick and fortuitous rebirth. Love you dear one!!!
