“CHRISTMAS: ACIM Study Group”
CHRISTMAS: A state of mind where means and ends are one. (For atheists, agnostics, you and anyone in a religious cult.) Inner congruence is peaceful. Most human disappointment arises because inner conflict is not resolved within, just temporarily masked by external emollients, and then it pops back up again, like a bad zit.
Theosophist Markus has had several ‘lives’ (he likes cats and dogs, but as a Leo born in the year of the Tiger, his personality seems to be closer to a cat, but with more laughter!). His background includes running an International Equity Sales & Trading Dept on Wall St, being an Equity Analyst in Europe and running the Esprit Center in Hudson N.Y. A regular speaker at our lodge on various topics, he has also facilitated ACIM Study Groups at Artserve, Wholefoods Community Room, Unitarian Universalist and Unity Churches in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area.

“The Gospels & the Gita: Transformation through the Teachings of Christ & Krishna” with Cary Bayer
Christ and Krishna were two of the greatest spiritual teachers the world has ever known. Perceived by millions as avatars—literally, incarnations of God who came to save the world—their wisdom has been preserved for the ages in the Gospels and the Bhagavad Gita, respectively. The deepest interpretation of the work of Christ and Krishna is that they came to literally transform each of us from the inside out so that we could enjoy the Kingdom of Heaven—in the case of Jesus—and the Unity of God Consciousness—in the case of the great teacher of Yoga. In this talk, Cary will illuminate the similarities between these two great teachings.
Cary Bayer, the former Transcendental Meditation teacher and trainer of teachers, founded Higher Self Healing Meditation in 2010. He’s also the author of Higher Self Meditations and Meditations on Christ.
