“Hinduism – Its Many Gods and Goddesses –
What It Really All Means and Why It Matters”
with Jane (Janani) Cleary

Hinduism is not the word that Hindu’s use to describe their religious practices/engagements. In fact, Hindus do not even refer to themselves as Hindus. These terms were created by the British to help them to set up a colonial governing system. As if that is not bad enough, the fundamental tenants of Hinduism, their worship of many Gods and Goddesses have all been misunderstood, misrepresented and intentionally abused for centuries! Yet despite these challenges, the culture continues to survive and thrive. In its vision, it provides a unique that is a warm, embracing and empowering perspective that is revealed in its unfolding of its practices as well as in its rationale behind why there are so many Gods and Goddesses found in its tradition. When all this is understood, anyone who learns about it can personally benefit because its Vision directly touches one’s heart as it expands one’s mind and as it further reveals that no culture or religion including Hinduism can claim ownership to it. Hence, Hindus to not seek to convert anyone – and in fact no conversion is necessary once the bigger picture is fully understood.

A short general meditation will be done at the end of the session.

As a yoga teacher in New York City, Janani’s discovery of Vedanta occurred quite by accident when she met Swami Chinmayananda and was persuaded by him to fully explore what is behind the practice of yoga. She traveled to Sandeepany Sadhanalya in Mumbai where, under the brilliant tutelage of Pujya Swami Dayananda, Janani completed a full course of study and received certification in 1978. She has been actively and successfully teaching Vedanta classes in numerous formats ever since.

“Dream Yoga”
with Brian Burns & Tony Spatarella

The practice of dream yoga deepens our awareness during not only dreams, but our dream-like daytime experience, and bardo experiences after physical death. It’s a powerful tool of awakening, used for hundreds of years by the great Tibetan masters. The ultimate goal of Tibetan dream yoga is recognition of the nature of mind or enlightenment itself. Join us for discussion of texts such as The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep: Practices for Awakening by Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, purification practices, and to share your dream experience.

Brian was heavily influenced by the spirituality of Zen Buddhism at an early age, and is the author of Kwan-Yin Heart (https://www.amazon.com/Kwan-Yin-Heart-Brian-Burns-ebook/dp/B00W8GIOAW) and other books. He continues to guide and support the lodge as our President. Musician and author Tony is a past President of our lodge. His book The Myth of “ME” is available through Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Myth-ME-handbook-assist-toward/dp/1631030159.

No special athletic ability is needed and most methods may be practiced in either a seated or standing position. Wear comfortable clothing.

Ken Frankel has been practicing qigong for over twenty years and has traveled to many places in the United States and Canada to learn it. “Breaking Down The Matrix By Recircuiting Neural Pathways”
with Sharon Ann Meyer, a.k.a. SAM

Join us for an open discussion of useless and helpful practical ways in which humanity recircuits neural pathways. This is not a teaching, but a reading and discussion of channeled communications from Causal Realms to assist us in living healthier lives that are more in tune with our powers of manifestation. Please turn off all devices such as cell phones and i-pads, and be on time so as to not disrupt higher frequencies.

Wayshower SAM became aware of communicating with unseen frequencies after family members relinquished their physical form. This opening to an entirely different world paved the path to awakening from the illusion of separation from all that is, was, and ever shall be. Author of the Lightworker’s Log Book Series, SAM is also the founder of SAM I AM PROductions, administrator of LightworkersLog.com, and the Corresponding Secretary for our branch of The Theosophical Society.
