“February’s Full Moon, Legends of Groundhog’s Day and the Ancient Holiday of Imbolc (Candlemas)”
with Rev. Dr. Dikki-Jo Mullen

Groundhog’s Day has its roots in the Christian holiday of Candlemas. It falls yearly on February 1-2 and coincides with Imbolc (or Oimelc), an ancient Pagan celebration which honors the birth of new lambs and the first glimmerings of springtime. This day marks the midpoint between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. Traditionally, it is a time dedicated to the burning and blessing of candles, symbolizing the growing light and the end of winter. The belief evolved in Europe that the weather on February 1-2 would reveal the weather to be expected during the rest of the winter. When it was clear on Candlemas, a prolonged winter was indicated. This year of 2026 there will be a Full Moon in Leo on February 1. By Native Americans and early European immigrants the February Full Moon has been called the Storm Moon, Hunger Moon, Chaste Moon, Snow Moon and Severe Moon. The astrological message brought by the February 1st Full Moon will also be included in the presentation. Dikki-Jo will offer predictions about what might be expected from the celestial energies generated by this powerful Full Moon on Candlemas. She will include platform style personal messages for those in attendance too. Bring along a copy of your own birth chart for a message about how the Full Moon will specifically affect you during the times to come.

Rev. Dr. Dikki-Jo Mullen, a Lifetime Member of the Theosophical Society in America, is today’s guest presenter. She has spoken at the National Headquarters in Wheaton, Illinois and at various T.S. conferences. Dikki-Jo is from Orlando where she maintains a busy practice as an astrologer, author and parapsychologist. She is a graduate of The University of Florida and an ordained Spiritualist minister as well as a certified medium.

“Foods Role In Elevating Consciousness”
with Gayle Stolove, Registered Nurse, Professional Chef, Macrobiotic And Chinese Medicine Health Practitioner, And Long-Time Cancer survivor

We can’t elevate our consciousness if our organs and related emotions are clogged with unhealthy chemicals from food that our higher consciousness doesn’t recognize, and can’t process. This leads to illness and disease. Each of the seasons, corresponding organs of our body, and related meridians, have seasonal foods that nurture them. Illness and disease can be avoided IF our body and mind are in synch with the universally flowing circle of consciousness. Gayle will share how this is accomplished.

Gayle has been teaching, cooking, and guiding people through macrobiotics and healing for over 30 years.

She has cooked for private clients, taught internationally, and supported many people on their wellness journeys. Her food is always tasty, creative, beautifully balanced, and full of heart.

Qigong consists of various ancient (and modern) Chinese practices that promote health, vitality and longevity through the engagement of body, breath, and mind. No special athletic ability is needed and most methods may be practiced in either a seated or standing position. Wear comfortable clothing.

Ken Frankel has been practicing qigong for over twenty years and has traveled to many places in the United States and Canada to learn it. “Improvisational Comedy: The Zen Art of Self-Discovery”
with Cary Bayer

What if every moment of your life were a scene you were improvising with the Universe? In this playful and profound talk, we explore the art of improv comedy as a living metaphor for awakening. Through laughter, story, and insight, discover how the improviser’s tools — “Yes, and…”, presence, surrender, and trust — mirror the deepest teachings of Zen. From the terror of a silent stage to the joy of spontaneous creation, we’ll see how each moment invites us to drop the script, dissolve the ego, and rediscover who we really are beneath all our characters. Come ready to laugh, reflect, and perhaps glimpse the cosmic punchline behind it all. (Because enlightenment might just be the best improv scene ever played.)

Cary Bayer has been blending the cosmic and the comic his entire adult life. He’s taught meditation to many hundreds of people, trained dozens of TM teachers, life coached more than a thousand people, and is the author of 18 books on personal growth including Higher Self Meditations, and 5 on the spirituality of pop culture, including The Yoga of Entertainment: Higher Consciousness in Pop Culture. He’s also been a stand-up comedian, studied improv, and is the author of 11 humor books, including Spiritual Lampoons. He’s proud to say that the first time he performed comedy, at the age of 23, it was as Groucho Marx.
