Join us for an enjoyable and interesting afternoon learning about the advent of Tibetan Buddhism to the west. Jacie will give a history of Thubten Kunga Ling, share how a 21st century re-incarnate lama is benefiting the world, offer stories, answer questions, and lead us in a short Tara meditation.
Jacie Keeley was the private secretary to Lama Thubten Yeshe (https://lamayeshe.com/), credited as the lama who brought Buddhism to the west. After living in Nepal for eight years, Jacie returned to Boca Raton in 1986. Shortly thereafter, she founded Thubten Kunga Ling for Wisdom Culture. Nowadays, Jacie is the executive assistant to Tenzin Osel Hita, the recognized reincarnation of Lama Yeshe (https://one-big-love.com).
