Awakened to the One Spirit within and inspired by the writings of the Transcendentalists, Walt Whitman had powerful glimpses of the Higher Self within himself and within each and every one of us, and that pervades the universe. His poetic chants of direct expressions of the higher Self can awaken it in you because he and you share that level of Being.
Cary Bayer (CaryBayer.com), who wrote his Masters thesis on Whitman at Maharishi International University, is the author of Walt Whitman: Poet of Enlightenment. He taught Transcendental Meditation for more than three decades before developing Higher Self Healing Meditation in 2010.

Dr. Scime will show us a DVD “Super Brain” featuring Dr. Rudolph Tanzi, PHD who is not only an expert neuroscientist in the field of neurodegenerative disorders, but also a musician who professionally records and performs (keyboards), most recently with Joe Perry and Aerosmith. As Dr. Tanzi notes, “Too much isolation and loneliness is bad for the brain. It actually increases risk for brain disease like Alzheimer’s,” so join us for this discussion.
Dr. Sam Scime is a retired physician, Lifetime member of the Theosophical Society of America, and a member of and speaker at our Lodge in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
