“The Lotus Vine Entwined: H.P.B. and the Dawn of Interspirituality: An Interfaith Perspective”
with Swamini Divyananda Saraswati, Co founder of the Tiruvanammalai Tirumoolar Ashram in Tiruvanammalai, India.
This talk positions the 1875 founding of the Theosophical Society as a precursor to modern interfaith dialogue. It honors Helena Petrovna Blavatsky’s pioneering role in shaping contemporary interspiritual consciousness and offers insights on the unique personal and professional challenges that influenced her work.
Swamini Divyananda is the foremost disciple of Sri Swami Vijayananda Ji. She co-founded the Tiruvanammalai Tirumoolar Ashram with Swamiji and has served in key roles for numerous projects under his direction for the past 40 years.
Swamini Divyananda Saraswati was ordained by the revered Sri Swami Jyotirmayananda of the Yoga Research Foundation in 2009. She is an ordained Interfaith Minister completing two years of education and training at the Sacred Journey Interfaith Seminary. She holds a Master of Hindu Philosophy degree from Hindu University of America and has written and taught courses on Hindu Spiritual Care for International Hindu University. A licensed Registered Nurse for the past 35 years, she has served the community in three appointed volunteer committee positions in Broward County, as well as her Neighborhood Association. After completing two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) with Vitas Hospice and six years of voluntary service as a hospital based Chaplain at Pembroke Memorial Hospital, she is currently serving as an Independent Community Chaplain and member of the North American Hindu Chaplains Association (NAHCA). Swami Vijayananda Ji introduced her to the Theosophical Society in Miami in 1986, and she is now a member of our lodge.

“Qigong”
with Ken Frankel
Qigong consists of various ancient (and modern) Chinese practices that promote health, vitality and longevity through the engagement of body, breath, and mind. This session will be primarily experiential with some discussion of the foundational concepts, historical background, and health benefits of qigong along the way. No special athletic ability is needed and most methods may be practiced in either a seated or standing position. Wear comfortable clothing.
Ken Frankel has been practicing qigong for over twenty years and has traveled to many places in the United States and Canada to learn it. He has completed three 200-hour trainings and many briefer ones. Ken began teaching qigong classes at our lodge in 2018 and currently serves on the Board as Vice President 2.

Swami Vijayananda Ji along with Swamini Divyananda has built “Bhujageswara Rudraksha Mandir” in Davie, Florida. This serene Shiva Temple is enshrined beneath two Rudraksha Trees and is an abode of peace and tranquility. Regular Shiva Pujas, Rudra Abishekams and Rudra Homams are conducted here under the guidance of Swami Vijayanand Ji.
