“Tarot: Metaphysical Body-Mind Spread” with Markus Edmiston
This workshop will adopt the metaphysical notion of ‘as inside, so outside’ to find insight into a stuck situation by selecting suggested parts of the body for readings. Using a Louise Hay style approach e.g. Eyes – what are you really seeing? Pituitary – where is your next growth challenge? etc; the spread allows our body to talk to us about an outside the body situation where we are looking for insight or clarity. Please bring your own tarot deck if you have one, as you will have the opportunity to practice giving and receiving a reading, developing an expanded awareness of the unseen, but ever present laws of cause and effect already in motion.
Theosophist Markus has been teaching tarot workshops for almost 20 years. He has facilitated A Course In Miracles Study Groups at Artserve, Wholefoods Community Room, Unitarian Universalist and Unity Churches in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area.

“The Seven States Of Consciousness” with Cary Bayer
Cary Bayer, who taught Transcendental Meditation from 1973 until he founded Higher Self Healing Meditation in 2010, will take you on a joy ride through higher states of consciousness. The former trainer of teachers of TM will draw from his book, Higher Self Meditations to present a clear description of the seven states of consciousness available to every human, states experienced and lived in by many of the great saints, seers, and mystics from spiritual traditions the world over. He’ll also show why meditation techniques which use concentration and control of the mind to experience the fourth state of consciousness encounter greater resistance than those which uses an effortless approach that allows the Spirit of the Universe to do the work for the meditator who allows this natural inner process to unfold naturally. Cary will also touch on some of the psychophysiological research that helps explain what happens in the body while the mind is experiencing inner peace and an expansion of consciousness. A writer himself and the author of Literary Yoga: Writers & Higher Consciousness, Cary will also present descriptions of higher consciousness from a variety of poets and sages.

“Inner Dimensions of Qigong II”

This session will examine the development of modern qigong practice from it’s roots in Taoism, Buddhism, and traditional Chinese medical theory, and will include discussion and hands-on practice. Practices may include chanting, breath practices, gentle movements, self massage, and meditation. Attendance at the first session is not required. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in.
Ken Frankel is trained in qigong, has been practicing it for over twenty years, and teaches classes for the Miami/Deerfield Theosophical Society. He currently serves on the Board as Vice President 2.

The barrier of death is now breaking down as invisible worlds become more visible via intermingling of astral and physical worlds. Continuing our theosophical studies of the third object, today we begin to discuss the Kāma-Rupa/Astral Body and experiences within this realm of consciousness.
Wayshower SAM is author of the “Lightworker’s Log Book Series,” accounting her experiences of awakening after the physical deaths of a son and daughter. She is the founder of SAM I AM PROductions, administrator of the popular Internet resource, LightworkersLog.com, and Corresponding Secretary for our lodge.
