In-person gatherings assist us in recognizing our humanness, in voicing our needs and coming together in energetic ways that technological ways do not. Classes are open to the public on a Donation basis, balancing giving and receiving.

One chief value of Theosophical Society membership lies in the insight into certain fundamental truths —Laws of Reincarnation, Karma, and Brotherhood of Man—knowledge of which offers inspiration, hope, and contentment. Knowledge becomes increasingly valuable, transmutes into service, and increases through companionship of other members who know, all joining together in the great work of quickening evolution and uplifting the world. As one lives the truths, they become part of us, while joining forces with members of the Society holding the same ideals and beliefs. In this enlightening class, The Yoga of Oz: Meditations for Your Yellow Brick Road author Cary Bayer reveals that The Wizard of Oz, one of the most beloved films ever, abounds with spiritual truths. Once you understand that Dorothy’s adventure Over the Rainbow is a metaphor for her inner journey, you’ll discover where you are on your own path. The class showcases a key principle of healing discovered by Depth Psychologist C. G. Jung: namely, that what you resist persists. Dorothy resists Miss Gulch, who wants to kill Toto, and seeks to escape her by leaving Kansas. Over the Rainbow that witch-like Midwesterner becomes an even-more wicked Witch of the West, and now she wants to kill Dorothy herself. Last but not least, each participant will be shown that, like Dorothy, you, too, are supported by the higher powers of the Universe, whether they’re named Glinda, angels, or Spirit. Most of all, you’ll be able to gain access to that by symbolically clicking your heels together three times and awakening your own intuition.

“Natural Healing” with Sandy Koi
Sandy will discuss the ‘what is’ and ‘how-to’ of natural practices such as “Forest Bathing”, “Earthing”, “Sound Healing”, and other non-invasive methods for supporting health and well-being, most of which are free, except for the personal discipline required to practice them. Scientific studies are now able to prove what Healers have known for millennia; I’ll tell you where you can find some of that research.
Sandy Koi is a very right-brained scientist, with degrees in Art, Environmental Science, Biology, and Entomology, and is currently close to finishing a doctorate in Earth & Environment at FIU, where she also teaches Everglades Ecology. She is a certified Primordial Sound Meditation Instructor, Reiki practitioner, Astrologer and teacher of esoteric sciences; she intends to spend her remaining years in this incarnation on this planet teaching about Human Ecology and Health.

We will discuss what Grounding is, and why it is important. We will learn how you can rely upon yourself to become more grounded in your daily life. Emphasis is upon being self -sufficient and taking control of your well being.
Danuta is a nutritionist, nurse and certified master gardener, a world traveler with experience on both sides of the globe, and knowledgeable in the field of dousing. She has been a lodge member for twenty-five years and taught classes at our Palm Plaza lodge.
There is no charge for any of our programs. We operate entirely by donations to balance giving and receiving and to continue our work of spreading the message of theosophy. All donations are tax deductible under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, section 501(c) (3).
