“Jesus Christ & Santa Claus: Embodiments of Abundance”
with Cary Bayer
Come December a jolly bearded rotund man with a white beard is ubiquitous from the front of lawns to shopping malls everywhere. He’s the archetype of abundance, giving presents to kids who are nice and even naughty, and can be seen virtually all over the world on Christmas Eve coming down chimneys to celebrate the birth of the Christian Messiah. That Messiah—Jesus Christ—is also said to be virtually all over the world and not just on the night before the celebration of his entrance into our world. He, too, represents abundance, turning water into wine, and performing a wide range of miracles. This talk recounts the history of the bearded symbol of the holiday season and his connections to the Son of God.
Cary Bayer is author of Meditations on Christ and Higher Self Meditations. He’s also a life coach, former teacher of Transcendental Meditation and trainer of its teachers, and the founder of Higher Self Healing Meditation. Learn more at CaryBayer.com.
